Thomas' red cake!

...and some cupcakes!

For Thomas' birthday I made this velvet-box-looking cake, with a moist yellow vanilla cake and cherry swiss meringue buttercream!
And...the cord made question mark is because you could never guess his age!!!!!!!!!!!
I also baked some chocolate cupcakes with the same frosting for him to offer his colleagues!

 Για τα γενέθλια του Θωμά έφτιαξα αυτή την κόκκινη καπιτονέ τούρτα με moist yellow cake και βουτυρόκρεμα ελβετικής μαρέγκας από κεράσι.
Το ερωτηματικό από κορδόνι είναι γιατί δεν θα μπορούσε κανείς να μαντέψει σωστά την ηλικία του!
Θωμά....πώς το καταφέρνεις αυτό;;;;
Του έφτιαξα και μερικά σοκολατένια cupcakes με την ίδια κρέμα για να κεράσει τους συναδέλφους του!

Χρόνια σου πολλά Θωμά!!!!!!

So...the other day it was Nefeli's nameday! Actually it is Maria-Nefeli, just like the poetry collection! So cute and romantic!
Her mum, Zoe, asked me to make some treats for her to offer at school. Nefeli likes hedgehogs and the vintage-romantic aesthetics...
The result was vanilla and cocoa butter cookie-pops with polca dots!
I was really glad to see Zoe's reaction when she saw the cookie-pops and so happy when she called to tell me how thrilled Nefeli and her friends were!
Thank you so much Zoe for the chance you gave me to do a project like this! I really enjoyed baking for your little girl and I wish her life will be as sweet as those cookie-pops!

 Λοιπόν ... εχθές ήταν γιορτή της Νεφέλης! Στην πραγματικότητα είναι η Μαρία-Νεφέλη, όπως ακριβώς και η ποιητική συλλογή! Πόσο χαριτωμένο και ρομαντικό!
Η μαμά της, η Ζωή, μου ζήτησε να φτιάξω κεράσματα για να προσφέρει στο σχολείο της. Στη Νεφέλη αρέσουν οι σκαντζόχοιροι και η vintage-ρομαντική αισθητική ...
Το αποτέλεσμα ήταν πουά cookie-pops βουτύρου με βανίλια και κακάο!
Ήμουν πραγματικά ευτυχής να δω την αντίδραση της Ζωής όταν είδε τα cookie-pops και τόσο χαρούμενη όταν με πήρε για να μου πει πόσο ενθουσιασμένη  ήταν η Νεφέλη και οι φίλοι της!
Σε ευχαριστώ πολύ Ζωή για την ευκαιρία που μου έδωσες να κάνω κάτι σαν κι αυτό! Πραγματικά το απήλαυσα να τα φτιάξω για το κοριτσάκι σου και εύχομαι η ζωή της θα είναι τόσο γλυκό όσο αυτά τα cookie-pops!

I honestly think I could not find a better way to come back to my posts than this unique occasion.

Kiki, Georgia's and Fotis' little daughter was baptised on a lovely afternoon, two weeks ago, at a gorgeous church in Lavrio and her parents threw a party for her at a wonderful venue in Anavissos.
Everything was chic and classy and we all had a blast!
Kiki is a beautiful little girl and on November will turn one! She was so sweet and cute in her white little dress, her stunning mum and her dad were so happy and proud of their little princess, they just could not stop smiling!
I really wish the best for your wonderful family and your precious little girl!

Μέχρι στιγμής οι τούρτες που έφτιαχνα ήταν παιδικές και κυρίες αγορίστικες....
Ήρθε η στιγμή λοιπόν να φτιάξω και μία πιο... ενήλικη τούρτα!
Η Νάντια θέλησε να κάνει έκπληξη στον άντρα της για τα γενέθλιά του, οπότε του έφτιαξα μια τούρτα σοκολάτας semifreddo με μπισκότα, φουντούκια και cointreau!

Happy happy happy birthday sweety!

Σήμερα είναι τα γενέθλια της φίλης μου Άννας και πολύ γλυκός αρραβωνιαστικός της μου ζήτησε να της κάνω μία τούρτα έκπληξη με θέμα τα μωράκια!!!! Της έφτιαξα choc sponge cake με cream cheese frosting και από ό,τι μου είπαν άρεσε σε όλου πολύ!

Today it is Anna's burthday and her fiancé asked me to make her a surprise baby themed birthday cake! I made the choc sponge cake with cream cheese frosting! I was so glad to hear that you've enjoyed it, so thanjk you all so much for your compliments!
