oat raisin cookies, the chewy ones!

What do think about some old time classic cookies for breakfast? With oats and raisins, chewy, dense and moist in the middle...? Yeah.... that's what I had in mind...

Specially made for Stefania's grandpa, who used to have them quite often when he was in the USA.

what about some vintage desserts?

There is nothing like mum's desserts... right?
I had to make some for the family gathering on Easter day!

I made a trifle with digestive biscuits, roasted hazelnuts and almonds, dark chocolate swiss meringue buttercream and whipped cream.

And then...for the first time I made a Pavlova!!!! The meringue took me 3,5hs to bake, it stuck on the baking sheet and broke but the taste was absoloutely perfect! Everybody loved it and the appearance was not that bad so...that was fine!

Lenten cinnamon cookies!!!!

Today a baked Yiannis' favourite cinnamon cookies! Extra crunchy, with organic cretan virgin olive oil, red wine, orange zest and juice and my secret spice mix from my great grandmother from Constantinople!

Σήμερα έφτιαξα τα αγαπημένα μπισκοτάκια του Γιάννη! Πολύ τραγανά, με βιολογικό κρητικό παρθένο ελαιόλαδο, κόκκινο κρασί, χυμό και ξύσμα πορτοκαλιού και και το μυστικό μείγμα μπαχαρικών της Πολίτισσας προγιαγιάς μου!

my butter rich spritz cookies!!!! made only for Jason!

Jason's mon, Vicky, asked me for some butter cookies! So....I made the old time classic spritz cookies with butter and pure vanilla extract from the Caribbean (thank you sooooo much Stef and your uncle and your mom!)
And you have to believe it!
The difference is massive
thanks to the Caribbean!

Η μαμά του Ιάσονα, η Βίκυ, μου ζήτησε να φτιάξω μπισκότα βουτύρου! Έτσι.... έφτιαξα τα κλασσικά βουτυράτα μπισκότα πρέσας με αγνό εκχύλισμα βανίλιας  από την Καραϊβική (σε ευχαριστώ τόοοσο πολύ Στεφανία μου, και τον θείο σου και την μαμά σου!)

My oh my.... my oatbars along with some carrot cupcakes have traveled to Switzerland!!!!!

I've made them for a spacial couple, friends of Stefania and Andreas! This time my cupcakes were frosting-free and with almonds instead of walnuts!

Really hope they've enjoyed them!!!! Hope I could send them my pastries more often!

Οι μπάρες βρώμης μαζί με μερικά cupcakes καρότου ταξίδεψαν στην Ελβετία!!!!!

Τα έφτιαξα για ένα υπέροχο ζευγάρι, φίλοι της Στεφανίας και του Ανδρέα! Αυτή τη φορά τα cupcakes έγιναν χωρίς την κρέμα και με αμύγδαλα αντί για καρύδια!

Πραγματικά εύχομαι να τα ευχαριστήθηκαν!!! Μακάρι να μπορούσα να τους στέλνω πιο συχνά τα γλυκά μου!
